LANSING, Mich. — Lansing Ignite FC unveiled its inaugural home and away jerseys, presented by LAFCU, in a packed house at The View in Cooley Law School Stadium on Monday. The four kits were designed by Lansing-based Moneyball Sportswear.

The home jersey is orange and fades down into white, while the away jersey is blue and features unique stripes in the team’s colors on the sides. The goalkeeper jerseys are red and grey. Representing Michigan’s Capital city, all four jerseys prominently feature Lansing’s area code, 517, on the front.

“Moneyball’s designs for both the home and away kits, as well as the goalkeeper kits, are full of energy and excitement,” LIFC Vice President and General Manager Jeremy Sampson said. “We’re proud to represent Lansing, the 517, and know our supporters will love the unique look of our kits as we compete in our inaugural season.”

All jerseys also feature the LAFCU logo on the front, as the Lansing-based credit union was named the inaugural kit sponsor of LIFC for the 2019-2023 seasons. LIFC and LAFCU have created an enter-to-win jersey giveaway, where fans can sign up for a chance to win [lansingignite.com] a free jersey.

"As an early supporter of bringing the team to Lansing, LAFCU is proud to partner with Lansing Ignite as the inaugural kit sponsor," said LAFCU CEO Pat Spyke. "The community will benefit from the added excitement in downtown Lansing for years to come."

The home and away jerseys are available for purchase now online [lansing-ignite-club-shop.myshopify.com] and at the Nuts and Bolts store, located at 505 E Michigan Ave. in downtown Lansing.

LIFC will wear its new away jerseys for the first time when it kicks off its USL League One campaign against the Richmond Kickers in Richmond, Virginia, on March 30 and against Greenville Triumph SC in Greenville, South Carolina, on April 6. The team will then return home to prepare for its week-long, home-opening celebration. LIFC will hold a celebration in downtown Lansing ahead of the team’s first League One match at Cooley Law School Stadium against the Kickers on April 13, and the celebration of soccer in the Michigan capital will continue three days later, when LIFC faces off against the Michigan State Spartans in the Capital Cup, presented by Sparrow.
