LANSING, Mich. — Lansing Ignite FC announced today that Lansing-based Peak Performance Physical Therapy will be the Official Athletic Training and Rehabilitation Partner of the club.

Founded in 2011, Peak Performance Physical Therapy will provide on-field healthcare for the team throughout the 2019 campaign, beginning with the team’s two preseason matches at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Michigan.

They will also provide rehabilitation services through coordination of care with their orthopedic, family medicine and healthcare specialist relationships. With a comprehensive Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy approach, Peak Performance Physical Therapy has begun revolutionizing the way that healthcare is delivered in our local community.

“Peak Performance Physical Therapy truly understands what is necessary to keep our players performing at the highest level possible for the 2019 season, so we’re thrilled to partner with them,” LIFC President Nick Grueser said. “Our goals are to reach the USL League One Playoffs and fight for the championship in year one, and we have no doubt Peak Performance Physical Therapy will provide us with the best injury prevention programs, as well as first-class recovery treatments, to help our team achieve those goals.”

Peak Performance Physical Therapy and Lansing Ignite are focused on the health of the local community. Peak Performance Physical Therapy has volunteered countless hours of service and education in the community over the past several years. This partnership will give both organizations added opportunities for collaboration in the local community.

“It is an exciting time in Lansing to be able to recruit players from around the world to participate in professional soccer right here in Lansing,” Jill Marlan, CEO/Founder of Peak Performance Physical Therapy said. “Peak Performance Physical Therapy is honored to be the trusted athletic training and rehabilitation partner of the Lansing Ignite soccer team. We are committed to providing the best possible care to the team to achieve the highest level of success.”
