If you're struggling to feed your family fresh vegetables the Greater Lansing Food Bank Garden Resource center might be able to help.
They opened their doors to the community today so that you can plant your own garden.
The center offers seeds, tools, and other resources. Residents can plot and grow their own vegetables.
"People are really invested in trying to get more fresh food, more healthy food and this is just another way Greater Lansing Food Bank is getting food to the community," said Justin Rumenapp, Media Coordinator for the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
Although the food bank is focused on assisting low income families, everyone is welcome to participate.
