The #MannequinChallenge is a Internet video trend that went viral. People remain frozen in place like mannequins while somebody records video, usually music is played in the background.
The Lansing Fire Department joined the #MannequinChallenge and shared their video on the streaming site Vimeo.
They said the point of the video is to teach the community the importance of being prepared for anything. They don't want you to"freeze up" if there's an emergency.
