The annual BWL Chili Cook-off is back for another year. The event is in its 21st year and will take place this year on Friday, October 7 at Adado Riverfront Park from 5:30-9:00 p.m.
Tickets for the event can be purchased through the BWL website and range from $5.00-$10.00. People can purchase a Chili Fast Pass for an extra fee which allows them to get into the park 30 minutes early.
The chili cook-off has a football theme this year, and dozens of local vendors will be at the park offering samples of their homemade chili. The recipes will range from mild to spicy to appeal to a wide range of people. The vendors include local restaurants, non-profit organizations, and businesses from around the area.
There will be music from local musicians and bands throughout the event, a merchandise tent, and a chili dog eating contest.
