Lake Lansing South Sidewalk Ribbon Cutting

HASLETT, Mich. — Please join Meridian Township for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completed sidewalk project for the Lake Lansing Band Shell. The project was 100% funded by donations given by the Friends of Ingham County Parks and the Fun in the Sun event by Meridian Township to celebrate the 175th anniversary of Meridian Township. Funds donated by the Friends of Ingham County Parks were collected by donations from the passing the "Red Can" and 50/50 drawings at each of the concerts held every Friday night during the summer.

The new sidewalk extends from the corner of Lake Lansing and Marsh Roads to the Community Band Shell. The Lake Lansing Community Band Shell Committee works very hard to bring these concerts to the Park and their volunteerism is very much appreciated!
