Impression 5's Science Store hosts first holiday STEM market

Posted

Impression 5 Science Center is hosting its first annual Holiday STEM Market on Friday, November 10 (5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.; 21 & up) and Saturday, November 11 (10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.).

Check out unique educational gifts, toys, and stocking stuffers for the curious ones in your life from toddlers to all those still "young at heart!" If you haven't had the opportunity to visit Impression 5’s science store, Impression 5 TO GO, now is the perfect time! The Holiday STEM Market is designed to allow parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and others to see, touch, and play with a large assortment of STEM-focused gifts.

Friday, November 10 from 5-8:30 p.m. is an adult-only event featuring complimentary beer, wine, and snacks as you browse rows of local products and educational toys.

On Saturday, November 11, the STEM Market will be open to families from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include book signings with Michigan authors Denise Brennan-Nelson and Paul Jaques! Both days will feature Impression 5 TO GO’s coolest vendors, who will be onsite to demo their products and help guests find the perfect gifts for any future makers, engineers, architects, and innovators, while holiday shopping assistants and gift wrappers will be onsite to make the experience fun and convenient.

Because your Science Center is a non-profit organization, every purchase from the store goes directly into grants and scholarships that help children engage with science in meaningful ways, the internal design and fabrication of new exhibits, and establishing the long-term sustainability and growth of Impression 5 for future generations.

This market event is free and open to the public. Regular admission applies to experience Science Center exhibits.
