Impression 5 Science Center and the Home Builder’s Association (HBA) of Greater Lansing are hosting the second annual Design & Build Day at Impression 5 Science Center Saturday, October 13 (10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
Experience the science behind skilled trades at this day that fills the Science Center with special hands-on activities and challenges exploring the importance of S.T.E.M. education in home building—all led by professionals from the Greater Lansing area.
Families will connect electrical circuits, shingle a roof, create and build with wood, plumb fixtures, experience a virtual reality construction tool, and more!
Design & Build Day is sponsored by the HBA of Greater Lansing, which is a non-profit trade association comprised of home builders, suppliers, sub-contractors, lending institutions, and others whose primary purpose is the promotion of home ownership & improvement of the home building industry.
This event is open to the general public and free for Science Center members!
Impression 5 Science Center is open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5:00 p.m. For admission prices and more information, visit impression5.org.
