Impression 5 holds 7th annual Lego-Palooza

Posted

Impression 5 Science Center was spreading some lego love on Sunday at it's 7th annual Lego-Palooza event.

This creative and family friendly fundraiser supports Impression 5's hands-on education programming. Kids and their families were able to take part in the free-build area, a rocket car race and marble roller coaster run.

A staff member told us what it's like to watch these kids have fun.

"Kids don't even know how many amazing things they're doing by what they're creating and how they're interacting and building things. And I think that excitement is really transcendent, it's really powerful, it sets kids up for a lifetime of loving to learn," said Laura Zeller, Director of Communications.

Impression 5 staff tell us nearly 1,700 people attended the event on Saturday and the event has been growing in popularity every year.
