A Holt teacher, who has dedicated her life to helping others, is honored with a very special surprise.
Val Suszko was inducted into the Michigan Special Olympics Hall of Fame during a ceremony at Washington Woods Middle School.
The special education teacher has been a longtime volunteer and advocate for people with disabilities.
A big congratulations to Val--- and we wish her the best, as she plans on retiring at the end of this school year after 34 years as a teacher.
