For over 55 years the Holt Kiwanis Club has put baskets in the local Holt schools and the school children fill them with goods from their home cupboards.
This Friday the club will be picking up the 150 baskets and delivering them to the Holt Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Holt/Aurelius roads.
At 3:30 P.M. about 40 Holt school children will be coming to sort the baskets and canned goods.
Last year, this drive collected 6,500lbs.
