MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, MI — Enjoy bird watching with an experienced Capital Area Audubon Society (CAAS) leader in Meridian Township Parks and Preserves on a Sunday in May.

On May 5th at 8 am, meet in the parking lot of the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road in Okemos, to walk there and in Legg Park. There is no fee for this walk and participants must provide their own binoculars. For more information, contact the Harris Nature Center at hnc@meridian.mi.us or 517.349.3866.

“Many of Meridian Township Parks and Preserves have great bird habitats and CAAS has enthusiastic birding leaders,” said Harris Nature Center Coordinator Kit Rich. “Together they provide a wonderful opportunity for people to watch birds locally.”
