Governor Snyder hosted his annual education summit on Wednesday. He was joined by many businesses and community leaders to talk about the importance of changing out the way we teach and learn.
They talked about how we should all work together to ensure the state has a bright future and continues to shine academically.
Snyder emphasized that we need to be flexible in the way we teach and learn and that great technical skills aren't important, but so is understanding teamwork.
He also asked educators to move from traditional teaching models to more engaging opportunities to encourage interactivity with students.
