Outdoor specialty retailer, Gander Mountain, held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new Lansing store on Friday, October 7.
The newest store is 52,000 square feet, allowing the retailer more space and in turn more room for gear, accessories and firearms.
Hundreds showed up for the 10 a.m. official grand opening, of which the first 250 guests received free scratch-off cards for various prizes.

"We're proud to bring an even bigger and better store to the outdoor enthusiasts in Lansing," said Gander Mountain's Lansing Store Manager Brian Nimphie. "With a weekend full of family-friendly activities, we're excited to get the local community out to see all the great additions we've made to bring them the best selection possible for all their outdoor needs."

The new Gander Mountain store is located at 8757 Delta Market Drive in Lansing, MI 48917 and is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturdays 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
