MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Put on your snowshoes and explore the trails at night on Saturday, February 15th at 7:00 pm at the Harris Nature Center (3998 Van Atta Road) in Meridian Township. Participants can borrow snowshoes from the nature center or bring their own and follow a guide along the trails as we explore seasonal changes and look for signs of wildlife.

“This is a great time of year to experience the park at night,” said Park Naturalist Allison Goodman. “It is also an excellent opportunity to try out snowshoeing.”

Goodman says the Evening Snowshoe Walk will take place regardless of snow cover as participants can still enjoy a guided evening walk without snowshoes.

The fee is $3/ person with your own equipment or walking and $10/ person with borrowed equipment from HNC. The fee is due at the time of the program. Space is limited, so contact 517.349.3866 to register today.
