The Eaton County Sheriff's Deputy who rescued three people from a burning condo last month was honored for his heroics.
Deputy Andrew Jenkins was given a lifesaving award by the Delta Township Fire Department last night.
Deputy Jenkins was first on scene to the fire on Creekside Drive a few days before Christmas.
Body Camera footage shows him dodging flames to rescue the three people trapped inside, one of whom he dragged out.
Not long after everyone was out safely, the entire condo went up in flames.
We talked to Deputy Jenkins a couple of days later who said he was just doing his job.
