MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Story time comes alive as children interact with puppets Chicory Chipmunk and his animal friends at the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road, in Meridian Township on Thursday, September 19th at 10 am for this month’s Chipmunk Story Time, “Possum’s Harvest Moon”. The story times are open to preschool and elementary children. The fee is $3/ child/ session and is due at the time of the program. For more information, contact hnc@meridian.mi.us or 517.349.3866.
“Everyone notices the big Harvest Moon in the fall,” said Nature Center Coordinator Kati Adams, “and the animals in these stories do too.”
The stories will be followed by a walk in nature to do our own counting.
