LANSING, Mich. — Members of the Professional Women in Building Council of the HBA of Greater Lansing will be biking on the Lansing River Trail to benefit The House of Promise.
The House of Promise is a nonprofit organization that provides survivors of sex abuse and sex trafficking unconditional love, acceptance, and a place to heal. Human trafficking is a major issue in the world, with not enough being done to fight it or help its victims. With statistics at 1 in 3 women being sexually abused in their lifetime, the work they do is incredibly important.
Riders will meet in Old Town at Lot 56/Cesar Chavez Plaza at the intersection of Turner St. and Grand River Ave. and start the 7 mile journey. Following the ride, everyone will meet at Grand Café Sir Pizza in Old Town for dinner on your own.
Wednesday, September 25th at 5:00pm.
