Michigan’s largest independent not-for-profit college, will host a series of undergraduate admissions events this month across its campuses statewide, designed to introduce prospective students and their families to a variety of degree programs and career options.
“We're excited to invite students and their families to our campus locations to learn about the 100+ programs in everything from business to nursing to IT…we're confident one of our award-winning degree programs will meet their needs and expectations," said Bart Daig, Baker College system president.
"Families also will learn about Baker’s generous scholarships, on-campus housing and commuting options, small class sizes and nine campus locations offering a personal touch with a university experience."

Culinary Arts
Baker College’s Culinary Institute of Michigan (CIM)
CIM Muskegon: Oct. 18, 2018 6 – 9 p.m.
For those students with a passion for food and inspired by the kitchen, Baker College’s Culinary Institute of Michigan will host an information session and open house event at its Muskegon campus location. The event will include an introduction to the CIM’s degree programs in culinary arts, baking and pastry and food and beverage management, tours of the state-of-the-art culinary facilities, cooking demonstrations, a Q&A session and, of course, refreshments. The CIM Muskegon is located at 1903 Marquette Ave.
Law Enforcement
Baker College Cadillac: Oct. 12, 2018 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Baker College Allen Park: Oct. 19, 2018 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Attendees at Baker College’s law enforcement day events will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from multiple Michigan policing agencies to learn more about careers in law enforcement. The events also will include Q&A sessions and tours of campus facilities. Baker College Cadillac is located at 9600 E. 13th St., and Baker College Allen Park is located at 4500 Enterprise Dr.
Mechatronics/Michigan Advanced Technical Training (MAT2)

Students dreaming of a career in the robotics field, and associated industries where technology is revolutionizing manufacturing, will be well-served to attend Baker College’s mechatronics and MAT2 information session and open house event. Prospective students and family members will be introduced to mechatronics and learn more about Baker’s unique MAT2 program, which offers tuition paid in full by employers, allowing students an opportunity to work and earn money while attending college and to be assured of employment upon graduation. The event also will include a Q&A session and tours of lab facilities and student housing. Baker College Cadillac is located at 9600 E. 13th St.
