Auto-Owners holds steady in Fortune 500 listing

Auto-Owners Insurance Company, a multi-line property and casualty and life insurer,
is listed at No. 398 on the annual Fortune 500 list of America’s largest corporations, the same
position it was ranked a year ago. The ranking makes Auto-Owners the 15th largest Michigan-based
business on the Fortune 500 list.

This is the 15th straight year Auto-Owners has appeared in the Fortune 500 list, and it continues at
its highest ranking ever. The company had $6.775 billion in revenue for 2016.

be rated A++ by A.M. Best, a nationally recognized rating agency for insurance companies.

life policies annually in 26 states, exclusively through local independent agents. Auto-Owners was
founded in 1916 and is headquartered in Lansing, Michigan.
