MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Enjoy the full moon while taking a guided walk through the moonlit woods of the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road in Meridian Township on Friday, August 16th at 9 pm. Dogs are welcome and the group meets in the parking lot. The fee is $3/person, due at the time of the walk. For more information, contact hnc@meridian.mi.us or 517.349.3866.

“It’s fun to meet all of the dogs ,” said Harris Nature Center Coordinator, Kit Rich. “They greet each other in the parking lot and then walk comfortably in a line through the woods.”

It is not necessary to have a dog to attend the walk, however, participants are reminded that dogs must be on non-retractable leashes and flashlights are permitted.
