8th Annual Festival of Trees
Recurring weekly on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday through Jan 01, 2020
Location: Turner-Dodge House and Heritage Center
Address: 100 E. North St. Lansing, MI
Admission: $5.00 admission at the door, Children 12 and under are free

The Friends of Turner-Dodge House and Lansing Parks and Recreation are hosting the 8th annual Festival of Trees. Holiday trees by various businesses, organizations and individuals adorn all 3 floors of the historic mansion. The Festival of Trees opens to the public on Saturday December 7th and runs thru Wednesday January 1st. Hours are Tuesday- Thursday 1:00-7:00 PM, Friday-Sunday 12:00-5:00 PM. The Festival will be open Christmas Eve and Day and New Year’s Eve and Day from 12:00-5:00 PM. $5.00 admission at the door, Children 12 and under are free. Proceeds from the Festival of Trees benefit the continued restoration and preservation of Lansing’s historic Turner-Dodge House.

Peacock Road Family Farm ~ Christmas Season

The Holidays are always a magical time for everyone. This is an especially magical time at Peacock Road Family Farm. Come out and ride the Peacock Express to visit with Santa. He will be at his cabin in the woods with Mrs. Clause and she will give you some hot cocoa! Stop by the Sugar Shack to visit with Chrissy the Elf and make a caramel apple, visit Miss Rachel in Farmer Ed's Feed Trough for a famous pulled pork sandwich, check out the wreath shop for a custom made kissing ball, and pick out all our Christmas decorations at the Christmas Shoppe. Lets not forget about the Christmas Tree, cut your own out in the field or pick one from our pre-cut lot.

The Farm will open for the Christmas Season on November 23rd , 2019.

Farm will be open from 10am to 7pm every day.

We are closed Thanksgiving Day.

The Santa Experience runs on:

Friday after Thanksgiving - 10am to 7pm

Thursday and Friday - 4pm to 7pm

Saturday and Sunday - 10am to 7pm

*Make sure to arrive at least a half hour before your train time to pick up your tickets from the Christmas Store. The Peacock Express leaves the station every half hour on the dot.. $10 per person

Santa on the River

Location: Michigan Princess

Times: From: 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM
Admission: $10 per person

We are turning the Michigan Princess into a holiday wonderland and Santa will be aboard for all good children to visit. There will be face painting, a cookie decorating station, a make-your-own Christmas card station and a hot cocoa bar. It's sure to be a memorable holiday experience for your whole family!

Pictures with Santa will be located in the wheelhouse and available for purchase at $10.00 per photo with frame.

Wonderland of Lights

Potter Park Zoo is transformed into a magical winter wonderland with thousands of holiday lights and extraordinary visual displays Thu.–Sun. 5–8 p.m. only! Kids activities, entertainment and your festive animal friends make this a fun event for the whole family. (Lights are on Thu.–Sun. nights only) Closed Christmas Day.
