Noodles & Company , known for serving noodle and zoodle dishes from around the world, today announced that the company will transform itself into Zoodles & Company in honor of National Zucchini Day for one day only on Thursday, August 8. In addition, guests who visit Zoodles & Company can swap zucchini noodles into any dish in place of classic noodles for free that day.
Since zoodles debuted last year, Zoodles & Company has hand-spiralized nearly three million pounds of zucchini. Zoodles are gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and are also chock-full of nutrients like vitamin C and potassium. Zoodles can always be substituted into any dish on the Zoodles & Company menu or can be enjoyed with flavors from around the world in favorites like the zesty and creamy Zucchini Pesto with Grilled Chicken or the satisfying Zucchini Truffle Mac.
Guests can also find menu items that align with their individual health and lifestyle goals through the MyMenu app, which tracks nutritional information from calories and sugar to allergens and gluten free options.
“Because of our commitment to each guest’s personal wellness, Noodles was the first fast-casual restaurant to add zucchini noodles to its menu nationwide in May 2018,” said Tom Shepard, Vice President of Pasta Per Trio, the Grand Rapids-based Michigan franchisee of Noodles & Company, “Guests love zoodles and the other plant-based options in our newly expanded Zoodles & Other Noodles menu category, which continue to grow in popularity. We’re proud to offer guests a healthy noodle alternative in celebration of National Zucchini Day.”
On Thursday, August 8, all guests can take advantage of the National Zucchini Day offer by visiting the Lansing area Noodles & Company locations on East Grand River and West Grand River in Okemos and swapping in Zoodles into their favorite entrée for free.
