Posted at 11:19 AM, Jul 22, 2019

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Children 1-4 years old, accompanied by an adult can connect with nature at the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road on August 6th-9th. In these programs, the naturalist will facilitate activities while the child and adult participate as a team. Two camp times are available to choose from: 9-10 am or 11 am-12 pm. These camps have a $30 fee and all campers will receive a camp tee shirt. For more information, contact 517-349-3866 or hnc@meridian.mi.us.

“These camp programs are quick-paced like the toddlers who participate,” said Senior Park Naturalist Kati Adams. “Toddlers are so very curious about everything around them especially when you take them into nature.”

Participants will enjoy nature activities, games, walks, crafts, stories and songs. Registration for these camps is ongoing.
