Native Plants Make Gardening Easier

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, MI — Learn how to design and maintain a native garden at the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road in Meridian Township, on Tuesday March 26th at 7 pm. The price is $15/person and people are encouraged to register ahead. For more information and a registration form, contact hnc@meridian.mi.us or 517.349.3866.

“If you want to make your gardening easier, try adding native plants,” said Nature Center Coordinator Kit Rich. “They thrive in Michigan and will attract birds and butterflies to your garden.”

The class will be taught by Vern Stephens of Designs By Nature.
