The former Frank's Press Box East building will soon become a Ukai restaurant, located at 2314 Woodlake Drive.
Ukai currently has two other location across the greater Lansing area - Ukai Hibachi Grill & Sushi Bar West Lansing in Delta Township and Ukai Japanese Steakhouse in Okemos.
According to the Lansing State Journal, a building permit for the 6,800-square-foot building was issued on May 23, 2016.
The new restaurant will remain one-story and hold 341 seats.
