LANSING, Mich. — The MSU Broad Art Lab is thrilled to host its second Makers Market
On Saturday, Oct. 19 from 2–6pm and Sunday, Oct. 20 from 10am–4pm! This two-day event will empower a growing and vibrant community of creatives across the Mitten State in centrally-located East Lansing.
Get ready to shop a variety of handmade and artisan goods from Michigan makers! The Makers Market will feature an eclectic selection of original artwork, jewelry, ceramics, bath and body products, home goods, apparel, and more. In addition to a diverse group of makers, Blue Owl Coffee, Campbell’s Market Basket, Jenny’s Sweets and Treats, and Sanctuary Pizza will also be onsite selling delicious food and drinks.
The MSU Broad Art Lab opened across the street from the museum in May of 2018 with a $1 million gift from MSU Federal Credit Union and is an expression of the museum’s commitment to creating engaging arts and cultural experiences for a diverse audience, connecting art to other disciplines, and positioning the museum as innovative and inclusive. The Art Lab encourages the community to engage with art and art-making through dynamic exhibitions, workshops, events, and social gatherings.
