MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Story time comes alive as children interact with puppets Chicory Chipmunk and his animal friends at the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road, in Meridian Township on Thursday, January 17th at 10 am for this month’s Chipmunk Story Time, “Animals are Sleeping”. The story times are open to preschool and elementary children. The fee is $3/ child/ session and is due at the time of the program.
“This month our stories are about how animals live in winter,” said Senior Park Naturalist Kati Adams. “Many different animals appear in the stories to discuss ways of passing the cold months.”
The stories will be followed by games, a craft or a walk.
