LANSING, Mich. — COME OUT FOR A WALK AND SUPPORT YOUR NEIGHBORS - Individuals, families, civic organizations, businesses, clubs, and church groups - Join Capital Area Community Services, Inc. for its 29th annual WALK FOR WARMTH to be held Saturday February 23, 2019, at CACS Pine Street Head Start at the Neighborhood Empowerment Center, 600 West Maple Street, Lansing, MI. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. with the Walk beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Walk for Warmth is an annual three-mile walk that raises public awareness of the increasing number of individuals and families who are struggling to pay heating bills and to raise funds to assist residents in our community at risk of having their heat shut-off.
100% of all money raised by participants is used for direct customer assistance.
