LANSING, Mich. — The 7th Annual Lansing Beer Fest is coming back to REO Town, Lansing on Saturday, June 15th on Washington Ave. between South St. and Elm St. from 4-9pm, with special VIP entry starting at 3pm.
This year’s festival features live music, just like years past. Headlining this year is The Band Mint, they blend psychedelic funk and hip-hop lyricism, with supporting acts by The Gasoline Gypsies and Handsome Pete.
In addition to great music, this year’s festival is hosting 30 different breweries, cideries, distilleries with 100 different selections. New this year is a bourbon table which will have 10 different bourbons to sample. While sipping on your favorite adult beverage you can shop from the wide range of vendors.
Like last year, there will be a Giant Chess and Checkers, Giant Connect Four and new this year is Putterball. It's like beer pong but you putt instead of throwing a ball.
The food choices are to be just as excellent with options from Shove It Pizza Truck, featuring the hottest pizza options, Picnic A Food Truck, organic, gluten free, vegan and delicious eats, and From Scratch Food Truck, serving fresh Mediterranean options. There’s sure to be a delicious option for everyone.
General Admission tickets (4pm entry) can be purchased in advance for $30 and $35 at the door, and includes a Logo Sampling Glass as well as 10 Sampling Tickets. VIP tickets (3pm entry) can be purchased in advance for $40 and includes a Logo Sampling Glass plus 15 Sampling Tickets.
Must be 21 to attend. This year we changed the DD ticket to an entry ticket for $15 in advance or $20 at the gate. You gain entry into the festival with the ticket but doesn't include drink tickets.
The festival proceeds benefit the REO Town Commercial Association.
