This Sunday Meridian Township will be heading back to the 19th century for the Blue and Grey Civil War Encampment will be taking place at the Meridian Historical Village.
Put on by "Friends of the Historic Meridian" they will have demonstrations and exhibits of life during the Civil War as well as re-enactments of a company drill, court marshal and a Civil War battle.
There will also be activities and games geared towards kids as well.
The event begins at 11am and is free.
