On Friday, September 8, Lansing's Old Town neighborhood is hosting Arts Night Out. The event starts at 5 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. It's free and open to the public.
Also happening on Friday, Harris Nature Center is holding a Howl at the Moon event for you and your four-legged friends. It will be a guided walk at the time of the full moon. The three-mile trek starts at 8 p.m. in the nature center parking lot and is $3 per person.
MSU College of Music presents Professors of Jazz. The family-friendly event will begin 8 p.m. at the Fairchild Theatre in East Lansing. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and free for children 18 and under as well as students. Tickets can be bought online or at the door.
