Tomorrow evening at Okemos High School is "Compete for a Cause," a big fundraising event to help kids with pediatric cancer.
During this day full of boys high school soccer games, Compete for a Cause will be raising money by selling t-shirts, putting on a 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction.
Kids with cancer that are well enough will also be in attendance as well as their guest speaker, a medical doctor from MSU who researches childhood cancer.
The first game starts at 3pm between the Haslett and Holt JV teams.
We will have more local events and things to do right here on FOX 47. If you have an event that you would like to share, send us an email it to AroundTown@FOX47News.com.
