If you're looking to stay active over the Fourth of July weekend. Then Meridian Township has you covered. They're having their Meridian Mile event Friday night at 7 pm. Central Park drive will be closed for people to walk or race a mile. Proceeds going to the Meridian Cares Program. THere are races for adults, kids, dogs and even strollers. While the kids sprint is free, the mile for kids is 20 dollars and the rest of the races have a 25 dollar entry fee.
