On Saturday, May 20 children from the Lansing area can get fitted with a free bike helmet and enjoy family-friendly activities, thanks to various businesses and organizations that are working hard to prevent head injuries in children.
The Lids for Kids Bike Helmet Giveaway and bicycle safety event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marshall Street fire station on the corner of Grand River and Marshall Street in Lansing.
