Around Town 4/16/18: Sensory Friendly Spartan Concert

Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy the sound of music.  That's why the College of Music at MSU and the Community Music School are hosting the first ever "Sensory Friendly Spartan Concert."

Come out tomorrow and enjoy a free concert.  Created for individuals on the autism spectrum, those who have various sensory sensitivities, impairments, and other diverse needs.  Attendees can expect a fun and interactive night of music making.  Fidget toys, headphones, small instruments and a quiet room will be provided.  Finger flapping, talking and moving around the room are also completely allowed.

This event is taking place at the MSU Auditorium and again is free, but those interested are encouraged to RSVP.

We'll have more local events and things to do right here on FOX 47 and if you have an event you want to share, send an email to AroundTown@Fox47News.com.
