For many once Thanksgiving is over, the holiday and Christmas season can officially begin and Friday Mason is kicking off the festivities with their 17th annual lighted parade.
Santa will be at the Mason Historical Museum, which is located on the corner of Barnes and Oak Street from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. as well as after the parade.
The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. with the Mason High School Bulldogs Santa Band and at 6:15 p.m. the parade will step off from Bond Park.
And don't forget - Marines will be at the parade collecting new unwrapped toys for tots.
