If you're in the Halloween spirit and want to channel your inner mad scientist tomorrow you can head on over to Impression 5 Science Center for Chemistry Day. Help them celebrate national chemistry week by exploring geochemistry through hands-on activities and demonstrations. Admission for this fun and educational event is free and runs from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Also happening Saturday, the Meridian Township Police Department is having a Halloween Open House at their public safety building. The free event starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m. Donuts and cider will be served, you can visit McGruff the crime dog, sit in a patrol car, activate sirens and much more. Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.
