Capital Area Humane Society's 'Walk for the Animals' is back for another year!
This year's event will be held at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge on October 1, 2016 at 1 p.m. rain or shine.
The walk is a fun-filled day of activities for those who register - including a doggy costume contest, food, prizes, and more!
Registration is $25 per person. Participants are asked to have a minimum goal of raising $50 in donations, beyond the original registration fee.
The event focuses on getting help from the community in saving the lives of homeless animals and pets in mid-Michigan. This year's fundraising goal is set for $85,000.
