Make A Difference Day is Saturday, October 22 and Applebee's hopes Michigan residents will consider making a donation to charity.
The chain is hosting a statewide charity challenge that will benefit Make-A-Wish Michigan, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Guests can take part in the challenge by adding a donation of at least $5 to their bill. In exchange, Applebee's will give guests a choice of a free dessert or appetizer from a select menu, along with a $5 gift card to use for their next Applebee's visit.
The charity challenge is from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday at all Michigan Applebee's restaurants. The charity that collects the most donations will receive an additional $5000 donation from Team Schostak Family Restaurants which includes Applebee's.
