TRAVERSE CITY, MI — The 10th Annual Traverse City Chocolate Festival [tcchocolatefestival.com] will be held Sunday, April 7, 2019, 11:30 AM–2:00 PM and 2:30–5:00 PM. The event takes place at the Park Place Hotel, 300 East State St., Traverse City, MI 49684.
A decade means a lot of things in our lives. In Traverse City in 2019, it means 10 years of chocolate! For those of you who have come before, you will notice a lot of changes. The most exciting change is that the Festival has a new venue – the Grandview Conference rooms at the Park Place Hotel. It also means that there will be a new layout, on-line ticketing, great parking, and a children’s Cake Decorating Workshop.
For those of you who have not attended before, you will discover that the Festival brings together under one roof the largest assemblage of chocolatiers from around the state and the region. It is a great weekend get-away or Sunday diversion. And it is still raising awareness for the Northwest Food Coalition.
Admission: $20 Adults, $11: 12-yrs-old and under; Cake Decorating Workshop, 7-yrs-old and older: $15. Tickets available in advance or at the door. Purchasing tickets early is recommended, as the event has been a sell-out. Gift idea: treat a friend for Easter or Mother’s Day.
The Northwest Food Coalition serves over 60 food pantries, meal sites and baby pantries in Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau & Wexford counties.
