LANSING, Mich. — Big changes in the weather are coming to Mid-Michigan.
After several days of record-setting warmth, reality settles back in with the passage of a strong front Tuesday night.
Showers, storms and locally strong winds will impact the area, with 10:00PM to 2:00AM being the main timeframe.
Perhaps the most noticeable change will be the shift in temperatures. While readings will hold in the upper 60s until close to midnight, they take a nosedive by morning as we'll wake up to upper 30s.
Even with tomorrow's sunshine, the cold air that spills in will only be able to be heated up into the upper 40s, which is normal for this time of year.
That said, "normal" highs are bound to feel incredibly chilly following an historic stretch where we watched the mercury climb into the 70s on seven out of eight days to begin this November.
