LANSING, Mich. — Sunny and warm as we close out the work week. Our stretch of unseasonably warm temperatures continues today, high reach the upper 70s to low 80s across the area under sunny skies. Some haze will linger today, but it won’t be as thick as it was earlier in the week. Staying mainly clear and mild tonight. Low temperatures only dip into the upper 50s.

Warm through the weekend. Highs in the low 80s Saturday with a few more clouds filling in becoming partly cloudy. We stay dry Saturday with all the rain going north our area. Partly cloudy again Sunday with highs in the mid 70s. Dry through the daylight hours, before a few showers move in late Sunday night. Rain will be spotty and most folks stay dry.

Big cool down on the way for next week and it remains active. Scattered shower expected Monday evening and it will be cooler with highs in the mid 60s. Temperatures near 60° Tuesday with scattered showers and possibly a few thunderstorms through the day. It gets even colder Wednesday and Thursday with highs only reaching the mid to upper 50s. A chance for spotty showers each day. You will definitely need the umbrella and coat next week.
