LANSING, Mich. — A beautiful way to end the work week. Mostly sunny today with comfortable humidity levels. Daytime high temperatures will be near normal in the mid 80s. Mostly clear skies tonight with lows in the low 60s so another night of good sleeping weather.
Hot and humid this weekend. Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s Saturday with dew points in the mid to upper 60s so it will feel humid. Sunday will be hot with a high near 90° with dew points in the low 70s making it feel oppressive. It will remain dry through the day Sunday, showers and thunderstorms will hold off until late Sunday night into Monday so we have most of the weekend to enjoy.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to last through the afternoon hours Monday. Some storms may contain heavy downpours and gusty winds, but severe weather is not expected at this time. Rain wraps up Monday evening and it remains muggy with highs in the mid 80s.
Cooler Tuesday through Thursday of next week. Mostly sunny Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the low 80s and it should be less humid. Partly cloudy Thursday with highs in the low 80s with a slight chance for a few spotty showers in the afternoon.
