LANSING, Mich. — Strong and severe thunderstorms brought heavy rain, frequent lightning, strong wind gusts and large hail to Mid-Michigan on Tuesday night. Storms wrapped up or exited the region before midnight, leaving behind a mostly cloudy sky.
Warmth returns Wednesday with sunshine for most of the day and highs reaching the middle 60s. Some late day showers will prove to be far less active than Tuesday evening's weather.
Cold air sweeps into the area late Wednesday night and keeps our highs confined to the lower 40s to end the workweek. While temps are back in the 50s for Easter weekend, cooler conditions return next week.
