LANSING, Mich. — This afternoon's showers and thunderstorms have moved off to the east, setting up a nice night across Mid-Michigan with overcast skies giving way to partly cloudy skies. Where we did see the rain fall this afternoon, we will likely see some patchy fog develop overnight, but otherwise partly cloudy into tomorrow morning. Tomorrow starts off nice, but we see clouds thicken up with showers and thunderstorms arriving by the late afternoon and early evening hours. A better chance for more organized activity comes Monday night as another cold front swings through the region bringing storms that could be on the stronger side. Showers and thunderstorms linger through Tuesday before we finally clear out overnight heading into Wednesday. Wednesday and Thursday are copycat forecasts with a good deal of sunshine and a chance for storms each afternoon.
