LANSING, Mich. — Outside of snow flurries and light snow showers due to Lake Michigan, widespread snow will not return until Saturday night into Sunday. Winds will shift to the northwest/west through the day, bringing the flurries and clouds. Friday looks to be the sunniest day of the week if you are hoping for some brighter and blue skies soon! As of now, another 1" to 3" of snow looks likely by late in the weekend, with higher totals possible along/south of the I94 corridor.

TODAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Flurries possible, few snow showers along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Highs in the middle 20s. Winds northwest at 6 to 12 mph. Wind chills in the teens.

TONIGHT: Becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the single digits inland, teens at the lakeshore. Light/variable winds.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Highs in the middle/upper 20s. Winds southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

SATURDAY: Some sunshine early, otherwise the clouds thicken through the day. Snow is possible by late evening and overnight. Highs in the upper 20s.

SUNDAY: Cloudy with a chance of snow. 1" to 3" look possible at this time, with higher totals possible across our southern counties. Highs in the upper 20s.
