LANSING, Mich. — Skies will be mostly clear early Thursday morning allowing temperatures to drop back. Conditions will range from partly to eventually mostly sunny on Thursday with a bit cooler high temperature in the middle to upper 30s. Expect a beautiful day to wrap up the workweek on Friday as our gradual thaw with very little or light precipitation continues. That will aid in mitigating any flooding concerns or ice jams along area rivers. Temperatures have a shot to hit the upper 40s near 50 degrees by the end of the weekend.
