Today's Forecast - Light snow with seasonable temperatures

LANSING, Mich. — After a gorgeous start to the weekend, Old Man Winter will make his return and bring snow to the area as all of us wake up this morning. Snow will overspread the area all morning long. It will start to wind down during the afternoon and be completely gone by the evening. Accumulations area-wide will be 1/2" to 2" with the heaviest north of I-94. After a short lull in activity during the daylight hours on Monday, more snow will develop Monday evening. It will become heavy Monday night and Tuesday leading to the potential of 3”-6"+ by Wednesday morning for those south of I-96. Stay tuned for updates and any watches, warnings or advisories that are issued.

TODAY: Snow likely. It will be heaviest during the morning and be done by the evening. Accumulation of half an inch to two inches. Highs around 31.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and dry. Lows near 20 degrees.

MONDAY: Snow showers developing late in the day. Snow could be heavy, especially south of I-96. Highs in the lower 30s.

TUESDAY: Snow showers continue and may be heavy at times. Highs near 30. Accumulation from Monday and Tuesday could be 6"+ south of I-96.

WEDNESDAY: A lingering chance of snow. Mostly cloudy. Highs in the middle to upper 20s.

THURSDAY: Chance of snow. Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 20s.
