LANSING, Mich. — Another burst of rain/snow showers will occur late tonight into early Tuesday morning. Most of us will be asleep when this event begins and ends, showing how short it will be. Less than 1" (even some seeing no snow). By the afternoon Tuesday, some sunshine returns along with milder temperatures in the lower 40s! While there will be several rain/snow chances especially late this week into the weekend, there will be no big push of colder air with any system. High temperatures will remain above freezing the entire 7-day forecast.

TONIGHT: Light snow, possibly mixing with rain at times, with minor accumulations possible. Lows in the lower 30s. Breezy with southwest winds 15-20 mph.

TUESDAY: Early morning snow showers, perhaps even a mix of rain and snow. Cloudy during the morning, with sunshine returning later in the day. Highs around 40 to the low 40s. West northwest winds shift to the southwest at 10-20 mph. Gusts up to 35 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Highs around 40.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny with possible P.M. flurries. A bit colder with highs in the middle 30s.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny. Pleasant with highs in the upper 30s.
